The AHTA provides the following resources to facilitate and support the membership in the field of hand therapy research projects:

The AHTA provides a membership level of access to Science Direct, SAGE and EBSCO to members. Additional resources available to the general allied health sector are also listed here.

Scholarship Funding

The AHTA has provision to allocate $10,000 per annum to seed member research projects. Applications close on the 31st July each year.  

Any queries regarding an application or the guidelines should be directed to presidentelect@ahta.com.au and any technical queries can then be directed to the R&S committee members for advice.

Research grants available from other organisations:

There are many and varied grant opportunities available for those who wish to undertake research projects.

Members may contact the AHTA research mentors (see below) for assistance to identify grants in particular areas.  Those working in public institutions may also have access to a research office who can provide advice regarding grants.
