Calling all Early Career Therapists! We know it can often feel overwhelming to start a career in hand therapy. Please join us for a zoom call to meet your peers who are at a similar career stage.
The Early Career Special Interest Group has used the insights from your contributions at the first webinar to plan the second meeting on pain management and patient education following distal radius fractures. Educating patients about pain is a key part of a therapist’s role and can sometimes be challenging, especially early in your career. This interactive webinar aims to create a welcoming and supportive space to discuss your experiences and challenges around your patients' pain following injury, and to explore practical strategies for patient education and pain management. We encourage participants to bring along a case to share and discuss during the session.
Disclaimer: This group has been established to foster connection & engagement amongst early career therapists. The quarterly meetings are a forum for open discussion with other members at a similar career stage. These meetings are not designed to provide frequent individual mentorship.
