Elbow anatomy refresher and use of orthotics and exercises to regain range after trauma | SA Webinar

The AHTA invites you to attend the Brief Elbow anatomy refresher and the use of orthotics and exercises to regain range after elbow trauma by Helen Burfield, hosted by the SA Division. This meeting is being held online only.

Helen Burfield is a Physiotherapist with a Post Graduate Diploma in Upper Limb and Hand Rehabilitation and over 30 years’ experience as a hand and upper limb therapist. She is also an Accredited Hand Therapist (as awarded by the Australian Hand Therapy Association). She lectures to Post Graduate Physiotherapists and is a past president of the Australian Hand Therapy Association.

Helen recently presented at the IFSHT conference in Washington D.C on the use of orthoses following elbow trauma. Helen will be sharing a summary of her presentation, as well as a refresher on elbow anatomy, and the implications of injuries on elbow range of movement and stability.
