Dear Hand Therapy practitioner

You are invited to take part in the study titled: Current use of Electro Physical Agents by Australian Hand Therapists

This study aims to measure the current use of electrophysical agents (EPA) by Australian hand therapists and assess the need for further education in this area. This research is led by Dr Celeste Glasgow from the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Queensland, alongside Ms Christina Harwood, Professor Andrea Bialocerkowski and Dr Dave Parsons.

By improving our understanding of Australian hand therapists’ access to, frequency of use and preferences in relation to EPA we will be more able to tailor educational programs to meet therapists’ requirements.

Participants are asked to complete an online self-report questionnaire that will take approximately 10 minutes.

Your participation in the study is voluntary. As participation in the survey is anonymous, your data will be considered non-identifiable and analysed on a group basis to ensure confidentiality.

Please read the Participant Information Form in full before deciding whether or not to participate in this research project. This study adheres to the guidelines of the ethical review process of The University of Queensland and the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research. You are free to discuss your participation in this study with the research team via Contact us or 08 9778 9070.

If you register (click the 'Register' button on the right) and complete the survey, you will receive 0.5 hours of CPD for reaccreditation – Category 3: Contributions to the profession. This CPD will be automatically allocated by our website to your CPD log. You must leave your name at the end of the survey to allow us to cross-check survey completion.

If you do not register, CPD will not be allocated to your account.
