Overview - The Shoulder
We invite you to join the AHTA and presenter Jon Cooper from Action Rehab, for this VIC Division Meeting to discuss the Frozen Shoulder
Jon will be co-presenting with Gayan Padmasekara, an upper limb orthopaedic surgeon that I collaborate with.
We will be discussing the topic of frozen shoulder. Frozen shoulder is a condition that can be difficult to diagnose, and even harder to treat, and thus a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to care is vital to help people recover from this condition. In this presentation, we will discuss the frozen shoulder, its history, pathophysiology, controversies, and contemporary management, from both the allied health and medical perspectives.
In-person attendance is strictly limited to 27 seats, so first in best dressed!
Jon Cooper
Jon grew up in regional Victoria and elected to stay regional for his qualifications, completing both a Bachelor of Exercise Science, as well as a Master’s in Physiotherapy Practice at Latrobe University Bendigo. Jon’s background in exercise and sports science puts him in a very good position to take all of his patients from acute injury management to gym-based strengthening and conditioning, to elite performance. He has experience in treating all musculoskeletal conditions of the upper limb and has a special interest in helping people recover from shoulder injuries.
When not working clinically, Jon finds it important to keep up to date on current research in upper limb rehabilitation and sports medicine.
