At Bayside Hand Therapy in Wynnum, our therapists see the same patients from Day 1 through to discharge. No driving between different clinics. No rushed appointments. No being left on your own to figure things out. Just genuinely good hand therapy.
We are looking for an experienced OT or physiotherapist who is serious about furthering their career in hand therapy to join our small, expert team.
About the Role
We are looking for either an:
- Occupational Therapist, or
- Physiotherapist
with a passion for hand therapy.
You will manage a diverse caseload including sports and workplace injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, over-use conditions and chronic upper limb conditions, working closely with our large GP referral network, surgeons and other health professionals.
Salary $90,000 to $105,000 + 12% super + $2,000 annual PD allowance, negotiable based on experience

Melissa has 30 years of hand therapy experience and was a presenter of AHTA courses for over 17 years. Mentorship with Melissa means a dedicated one-on-one session every week. Not an open-door policy. Not occasional check-ins.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 2-3 years experience in hand therapy
- Excellent clinical reasoning and assessment skills
- Confidence in custom splinting and upper limb rehabilitation
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A commitment to work towards the AHT credential if not already achieved
