The practice has recently expanded and now operates from two purpose-built clinics in Adamstown and East Maitland. Our Adamstown clinic is co-located with Hunter Hand Surgery.

About the Role

You’ll be joining a team of eight experienced hand therapists in a well-resourced clinical setting. The position is available full time, though part time will be considered for the right candidate. Flexible work hours can be arranged. Day-to-day work includes assessment and management of:

  • Acute hand and upper limb trauma
  • Post-surgical rehabilitation
  • Fracture management
  • Tendon and nerve injuries
  • Splint/Orthotic fabrication and management
  • Chronic and degenerative hand conditions

What We’re Looking For

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Enthusiasm for developing skills in hand therapy
  • Excellent communication and the ability to work well within a team
  • A commitment to work towards the AHT credential if not already achieved
  • Previous hand therapy experience is preferred, but not essential. We are happy to provide mentorship, supervision and training for candidates who are newer to the specialty.

What We Offer

  • Monthly in-service education program
  • Generous annual CPD allowance
  • Mentorship from a team of experienced hand therapists
  • Two modern, custom-designed clinic spaces
