Hand Therapy Practitioner (Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist)
Full-Time / Part-Time Position

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to join our growing Hand Therapy team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside three experienced hand therapists, as well as orthopaedic and plastic surgeons, in a supportive and fast-paced clinical environment. About the Role

You will be involved in the assessment, treatment and management of a wide range of upper limb and hand conditions, including:

  • Acute tendon lacerations Fractures and post-operative rehabilitation
  • Wound management
  • Splint fabrication and management
  • Cast application and removal
  • Diagnosis and treatment of overuse injuries and chronic hand conditions
  • Development of individualised treatment programs
  • Patient education and self-management strategies Liaising closely with orthopaedic surgeons, plastic surgeons, GPs and other allied health professionals

Essential Requirements

  • Degree qualification in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Professional indemnity insurance
  • Full working rights in Australia

Desirable

  • Previous experience in hand therapy, musculoskeletal physiotherapy, occupational therapy, orthopaedics, plastics, or upper limb rehabilitation
  • Experience with splinting and post-surgical rehabilitation
