Where will my advertisement be circulated?

Your advertisement will be emailed to 3600 hand therapy practitioners within the AHTA's weekly eNEWS. Of these 3600 practitioners, 960 are members, and the remaining are non-members interested in hand therapy.

Your advertisements will also be posted to the Hand Therapy Jobs Facebook page.

 

 

When will my advertisement be circulated?

Your advertisement will be circulated when payment clears AHTA's bank account.

If you are hurrying to advertise, please pay by credit card.

If paying by direct debit, expect a delay of several days as the funds must clear first.

When payment has cleared, your advertisement will be circulated within three business days.

 

What is the cost to advertise?

Non-members/organisations $355 inc GST 

Associate and AHT Members $230 inc GST 

Please note that our fees are set by who pays the bill.  Members-only prices are for private practice owners (AHTA Members) to employ staff. Organisations with members working for them should select the non-member/organisation option. Your advert will not be published if the incorrect rate is purchased.

Your advertisement will be 'active' for 30 days. If you need longer than 30 days, you must renew your advertisement or create a new one.

How do I pay?

Once you have completed the Advertising Form (step 2 above), you will be directed to our online store, where you can make a payment.

Role Description
Our Murdoch based clinic is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic part-time Occupational Hand Therapist to join our team. Your role will have a strong focus on hand and upper limb rehabilitation & therapy.

The position will include a great mix of inpatient hand and upper limb orthopaedics, outpatient hand and upper limb treatment, work injured patients and all aspects of hand therapy including thermoplastic splinting. Prior hand therapy experience is required.

Our clinic has a very friendly and supportive work environment and the successful applicant will work together with our established team of OT’s and Physio’s and you will often be working directly in conjunction with Mr Paul Jarrett, Hand and Upper Limb Orthopaedic Surgeon and his highly motivated clinic team. We hold regular Research & Clinical meetings onsite and are dedicated to providing evidence-based treatment.

The role will be 1 day per week on a rotating roster. Both the hours and days will be negotiable, and salary will be tailored to suit the experience of successful candidate.

This clinic has access to the facilities of the Murdoch Clinic at SJOG Campus including a number of cafés and ancillary services available. You will have full administrative support from Mr Jarrett's clinic team. Our clinic has a dedicated Hand & Upper limb therapy consulting room for each therapist with half-hour appointments.


The successful experienced applicant will have an immediate caseload and will be involved in tailoring the service to suit the needs of the clinic and our patients. All applications and enquires will be treated in absolute confidence and with discretion.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Occupational Therapy techniques, with a focus on rehabilitation and hand therapy.
  • Effective Communication skills to interact empathetically with our team and patients
  • Relevant certification in hand and occupational therapy.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare setting.
