Aims
- To increase knowledge of the expertise of Hand Therapists in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of workplace injuries.

To direct patients to their local Hand Therapist to treat upper limb injuries.
Key messages
- A Hand Therapist is a qualified physiotherapist or occupational therapist with expertise in assessing, diagnosing, and treating upper limb injuries, including fingers, hands, wrists, elbows, and shoulders.
- Consult with an expert – a hand therapy practitioner is a physiotherapist or occupational therapist with expertise in the finger, hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder.

Competition 1
WIN: Membership subscription for one year.
Eligibility Open to AHTA members.
Entry requirements
To be eligible, you must:
- Post about the campaign, using the supplied ‘tile’ on socials or repost an AHTA post.
- Post two posters from the AHTA website on the walls of your workplace.
- Email the AHTA with evidence to demonstrate that you have met the entry requirements via Contact us >.
between Monday 1 and Sunday 7 June 2026.
Winner selection
The AHTA Chief Executive Officer will randomly select a winner, witnessed by an AHTA Director, during the week commencing Monday, 8 June 2026.
Notification
The winner will be notified via email.

Eligibility Open to hand therapy patients.
Entry requirements
To be eligible to win, comment on an AHTA's social post or a post from your favourite hand therapy clinic between 1 and 7 June 2026.
Judging criteria
Random selection of someone who has met the eligibility and entry requirements.
Winner selection
The AHTA Chief Executive Officer will randomly select a winner, witnessed by an AHTA Director on Monday, 8 June 2026.
