We wish to advise that the Fundamentals of Hand Therapy course, planned initially for Melbourne will proceed as an online course over two days with the remaining half day undertaken prior to the course on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 January 2021.
Participants will get underway in December with materials, readings, videos and exercises for you to review at your own pace over the Christmas and New Year period.
There is an examination, which will be completed and moderated online on 21st January 2021 at 8pm AEDT.

bout the presenter - Joy Hanna
OT, B OT, M Sc (Hand Therapy), Accredited Hand Therapist as awarded by the Australian Hand Therapy Association
Joy has over 20 years experience in hand and upper limb rehabilitation. She graduated from the University of Queensland in 1992 and completed a Master of Science (Hand Therapy) in 2003. Her Masters thesis was in the Management of Extensor Tendon Injuries with Early Active Mobilisation. She has worked both in Australia and the UK, within both the public and private sectors. She is currently the Manager of EKCO Hand Therapy in Brisbane. Joy has presented at both national and international conferences in Australia, the UK and USA and has taught at a number of universities in the field of hand therapy. Joy is a past president of the Australian Hand Therapy Association.
