In this webinar, I will be discussing how trauma presents in chronic pain. We will examine how trauma and chronic pain interact and consider ways that you can adjust your practice to include trauma-sensitive therapy principles. I will also discuss how to involve a psychologist in your work with clients and how to successfully discuss referrals to psychology with clients.

Ann is a clinical psychologist with over 15 years clinical experience working in a range of settings including public mental health, public hospitals and private practices. Ann's interests are pain education, mindfulness and creative strategies to empower clients to better understand and actively manage their pain. Ann gained experience treating clients with chronic health difficulties, including cancer and chronic pain, by working over a ten-year period in oncology. She furthered her clinical knowledge working in private practice.
