How do I become a hand therapy practitioner?
We build rewarding career pathways in hand therapy for graduates and early career therapists.
Two options are available for qualified occupational therapists and physiotherapists to enter the hand therapy profession.

52-week program
A structured program of readings, training videos, weekly tasks, mentoring support and tutorials.
Therapists begin their journey with the Introduction to Hand Therapy Course or the Early-Career Fellowship in Hand Therapy. From there, the AHTA has a range of courses to build a therapist's skills, knowledge and competence and provides opportunities for life-long learning and networking.
