Course cancellation policy – Pain Management and Imaging Courses USYD

The Course Cancellation Policy is your point of reference should unforeseen circumstances prohibit you from attending a course you have registered to attend, or in the unlikely event that the AHTA needs to postpone the Pain Management or Imaging Course.

If you need to cancel

We understand that on occasion participants may need to cancel their place on a course. The Pain Management and Imaging Courses are delivered in partnership with the University of Sydney and, therefore, the cancellation policy differs from the cancellation policy of the AHTA's other courses. 

If you wish to cancel your registration for the Pain Management of Imaging Courses, we require notification in writing no less than 25 days before the course commences – to be eligible for a refund of 70% of the course fees. 

Cancellation within 25 days of the course commencing will not be eligible for any refund. 

If we need to cancel

The cancellation of a course is a matter taken very seriously and is avoided where possible.

If the AHTA cancels a course (for example, course running costs are not covered due to small participant numbers) the following is applicable:

  1. Course registration fees will be refunded in full to each registered participant.

  2. Registered participants have the option to transfer their registration to another course.

  3. All registered participants will be notified either by email or phone.
