Course cancellation policy – Pain Management and Imaging Courses USYD

The Course Cancellation Policy is your point of reference should unforeseen circumstances prohibit you from attending a course you have registered to attend, or in the unlikely event that the AHTA needs to postpone the Pain Management or Imaging Course.

If you need to cancel

The Pain Management and Imaging Courses are delivered in partnership with the University of Sydney and, therefore, the cancellation policy differs from the cancellation policy of the AHTA's other courses. 

We understand that, on occasion, participants may need to cancel registration.

Terms:

  1. You must inform the AHTA in writing of your need to cancel your place a minimum of 30 working days before the course.

  2. Upon written notification, the office will refund the course fees less thirty per cent (30%) plus the cost of any supplied material (electronic material will not incur a charge). Alternatively, you may receive full credit to complete the same course within 12 months.

  3. Cancellation within 25 working days of the course commencing will not be eligible for a refund or credit.

If we need to cancel

The cancellation of a course is a matter taken very seriously and is avoided where possible.

If the AHTA cancels a course (for example, course running costs are not covered due to small participant numbers) the following is applicable:

  1. Course registration fees will be refunded in full to each registered participant.

  2. Registered participants have the option to transfer their registration to another course.

  3. All registered participants will be notified either by email or phone.
