Level 2 AHTA Certificate Course in Hand & Upper Limb Mobilisation Splinting (Dynamic & Serial Progressive)

Course Description

The focus of this two-day course is on the principles and practice of mobilising splinting for the hand and upper limb. The course uses a dynamic format of lectures, case studies, demonstrations and hands-on practical activities to meet your learning needs. Participants will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of splinting materials, fabricating numerous splints for the fingers, thumb and wrist including manufacture of articulated splints, designing outrigger profiles, and using different methods of force application and types of traction. This splinting course is intended for the practicing OT, PT or hand therapist with intermediate to advanced splinting skills.
