JOIN AHTA NOW (Step 2 of 3)

Full member applicants must contact their local Mentor prior to applying for full membership. Click here to find your AHTA Mentors. Your complete application must be reviewed and approved by your mentor before being submitted to the Membership Secretary, we recommend contacting them well in advance for tips and support on completing your application (this applies to full members only).

You will be required to complete the Employment Verification Form and the Evidence of Professional Development Form where applicable, using the Evidence of Professional Development Guidelines.

If you are upgrading to a full member from an associate member please complete the Upgrade application form.  Please click on the names to download the forms. This information cannot be attached to the online application form and must be provided to the AHTA Office via either: email info@ahta.com.au, fax +61 8 9049 1677, or mailed to Membership Secretary at PO Box 84, Southern Cross, WA 6426

For those applying for Conferred Membership only (that is Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, working in Australia, who are members of Hand Therapy associations in countries which are IFSHT members,
may be accepted as Members of the AHTA) you must provide a reference from a member of the AHTA, Member of AHSS or an AHTA mentor, in addition to proof of current membership to their IFSHT organization and an employment log documenting 3 months in the direct provision of hand therapy. Your application is not stored by the AHTA. It will be shredded in its entirety upon approval of membership and your contact details maintained on the website database. If you would like your application posted back to you please enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope and inform the Office Manager.
